Who I Am
I'm Gautam Marwah. I studied B.A. History (Hons.) at Delhi University, then spent seven years moving between fintech, product, venture capital, and building things on my own, usually landing in rooms I wasn't the obvious pick for.
In March 2021 I became the first product hire for Pine Labs' online payments team. After two years there I did a PGP in Technology and Business Management at Masters' Union, from June 2023 to October 2024.
I now work at Kae Capital, an early-stage VC fund, where I invest in enterprise AI and run the firm's AI operating layer. I also started Indianaut, this platform, because I wanted to understand India's startup ecosystem by talking to the people building it.
Right now most of my free time goes into building on AI: shipping small tools, running local pipelines, reading frontier research. Outside of that I read fantasy and sci-fi, play on the PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2, build LEGO sets, and play tennis again after a 15-year gap.

A Claude skill I built for reading frontier AI papers. It began as a reading list ordered so each paper sets up the next; now I paste in a paper and it tells me whether it's worth my time, explains the mechanism in plain language, turns the equations I can't read into code I can, flags what would break in production, and scopes a small version I can build on my own GPU.
